Testimonials

"The Children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and they raved about it for the rest of the week. Sean is a fantastic facilitator and was able to involve every child and gained the very best from each.

The children were enthused, excited and interested throughout the sessions and gained valuable skills and confidence.
The warm-up exercises were great fun and taught the children how to listen and use their voice correctly. They also evoked team building skills. The children performed at the end of the workshop with great pride and they buzzed with a sense of accomplishment. I would highly recommend the workshops for a key stage 2 class at any stage in the academic year."

Brenda Duffy, Carhill Integrated Primary School.

"Very good balance between giving the children structure and guidance, whilst allowing their creative input. The Consistency of the workshop following on each day helped the children stay focused. Very enjoyable sessions for the children."

Mr. P. McKernon, Oakgrove Integrated Primary School.

"An excellent program. All the children were thoroughly involved, with a wide range and variety of activities. It brought out the creativity in all pupils and resulted in a great sense of achievement. Great ideas for me to use in the classroom. Wonderful end of project performance!"

Mrs. A. McGonigle, Oakgrove Integrated Primary School.

The warm-up sessions focused the children perfectly into the musical skills required later on. The percussion aspect was very well organised and delivered, and the children were allowed to express their own creative ideas. Listening skills were promoted very well. I felt there were many ideas that I could implement subsequently in the classroom setting."

Ms. F. Wilson, Killowen Primary School.

"Both the class and myself really enjoyed the workshop. I was so impressed with the level of engagement of all my pupils. It was fascinating to watch the lesson evolve from a position of children being totally unfamiliar with the instruments, to where they were composing and playing with wonderful enthusiasm. The lesson was wonderfully pitched and all the pupils finished having a sense of accomplishment. Really terrific."

Mr. J. McDaid, P7 Hazelwood Integrated Primary School.

"The session was extremly well organised. Keeping a class of 31 gainfully occupied in a music task is no mean feat. All the class thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and loved the participation. I hope we have another session soon!"

Mr. E. Lynch, P7 Hazelwood Integrated Primary School.

"From the very beginning the children were engaged. You had their interest instantly. The introductory activities ensured everyone was on track, including me. The session was excellent and the end result amazing. Wonderful music in a short space of time. I loved it - the children loved it, and I am using some of the teaching strategies in my own class. Thank you.

"Within the workshop students were able to work in an active learning environment. All pupils were engaged within the workshop which reached to all abilities in the group.  There were 30 pupils involved and everyone got the required attention in order to perform various rhythms and songs.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the hour with Sean and received lot of satisfaction both socially and musically. He is able to communicate to the level of the pupils and creates a relaxed learning atmosphere where pupils can progress. This is the second time Sean has completed a workshop for us, and we will be delighted to have him in school again."
