Have fun using music and rhythm as a means of expression.

I Got Rhythm is dedicated to the development of children's creative musical imagination

I Got Rhythm is a music company dedicated to the development of children's creative musical imagination. Located in Moira, Northern Ireland the company works both locally and throughout the UK. We work with individuals, small ensembles and larger groups in our recording studio, as well as in schools, youth groups and arts centres.

The company provides a range of opportunities for young people to learn and have fun using music and rhythm as a means of expression, a mode of communication and a basis for the development of musical awareness and instrumental ability.

Our work is dynamic and innovative

The company's ethos is based on inclusion and the belief that music is open to all. In our group work everyone is enabled to take part and each member of the group is valued for their effort and contribution. Primarily our work centres around two contrasting approaches. We provide creative workshops to groups of young people and we also offer opportunities in studio recording for individuals or small groups.

Our workshops are led by Sean Randle, a music workshop leader and professional musician of some 20 years experience. Our aim is to broaden the understanding and enjoyment of making music by using composition, song writing, playing instruments, group singing and recording as well as encouraging personal creative expression and learning to work together as a group. The feedback received from school teachers, youth leaders and parents pay testament to the success of our workshops not simply as an element of young people's musical education but also in the transferable skills they gain through taking part.

Record your very own CD

We also offer young people who have a little more musical experience the opportunity to record their voice or instrument in our professional recording studio. The studio at the Junior Hit Factory provides the opportunity to record your very own CD. It takes just one session, and you or your group can have a professionally produced CD for your own enjoyment, or as a demo to give you a head start into the music business.
